Understanding the role in depth

There is no such thing as an all round star - someone who can perform equally well in any role. The media is awash with stories of rising stars who fell ignominiously after being stretched in one direction too far.

Different roles require different personal makeup to be successful. We will ensure we understand the role you wish to fill, its 'essence' and the impact it needs to make. We look at the way in which it connects to other roles. We also consider the nature of the personal relationships that will need to be fostered. (In exploring these questions with us, you may find, as often our clients do, that you clarify your own picture).

We then build a detailed profile of the personal skills and characteristics needed to succeed in that particular role. We start with a generic blueprint that is built on years of experience assessing hundreds of senior leaders. This is tailored to the particular needs of the role in hand as a vital pre-requisite to the assessments themselves.
